A Shirt History...

For years I dismissed the idea of shirts and such. Why would anybody want a shirt with my logo on it? But, more often than not, folks would ask me if they were available. Then I began to realize that some of my very favorite clothes were high quality shirts or something with somebody's logo on it. The light bulb came on...

This logo was designed by Michael Tanner and RuppShirts did all the printing. These are the best quality shirts and koozies we could find-- the very same brands I wear nearly every day (as a rule, musicians don't wear a lot of suits and ties). These are all-natural fibers, made from renewable resources, and good for you and the planet (okay, so the koozies are petrochemical. Think of all the ice they save...). With some abuse, these products will last a long time. With some care, they should last you for years.

It all started many summers ago at Camp Du Jour. Michael Sautter and I were trying to beat the heat of a Kerrville afternoon by forcing fluids and sitting very still in the shade of our Motel 6 tarp. It became increasingly difficult to consume our beverages before the ice crystals turned to steam. It was not a pretty picture.
